Expected & Unexpected Delays

I would like to thank all of those who have signed on and joined us for Term 3 of 2006.
As most would already know, Term 3 & 4 are being combined and are being kept at the normal price of 1 term. The reason for doing this is that a lot of personal and business issues (not to mention home schooling my kids) have come about. We are also in the process of updating our server requirements and this has met with some unexpected delays to the schedule. Even though my life has become busier I am hoping to be able to provide these lessons, though this may mean that they will be late sometimes due to circumstances beyond my control.
I have enjoyed cooking, creating and putting together these lessons for those who are using them, and wish to continue to create these lessons.
As for the lessons, there will be a minimum of 10 lessons, with possibly a maximum of 15 lessons. (Maybe more if things settle a little).

Term 3 News - Cookery e-Course

Term 3 News

Welcome to term 3 of the school year. Many recipes later and we are still here, working out the best way to bring different skills and experiences into your home. It has not been an easy year and each week has been different, problems have been overcome with the result of having bits of information learnt and retained, by even me.

Term 3 was originally planned to be international dishes only, but after some long thinking I have decided to do some international dishes but nothing so difficult that it would be hard to follow, or need special ingredients. I also plan on having at least a couple of lessons on preparing and identifying ingredients. Example: Deboning a chicken (advanced lessons) and the different cuts of meat it offers.

The email option that was available for term 2, as it was produced, will be continued for term 3 only , term 1 and 2 only being available for download from the website (www.rasita.biz). In order to download the lessons you will still need to login in with your username and password and follow the links on the left hand side of the website.

The lesson will be emailed to you as an attachment in PDF format.

Lessons should start to be available as of Monday 17 July 2006, on a weekly basis.

Discounts On Offer

Competition

The logo design competition was a success and I was able to choose two winners from the entries.
Unfortunately there was not a great number of entries, so instead of the promised newsletter, the designs will be included in the regular e-course lessons through out the term.

Thanks to those who entered, and congratulations to those who won the prizes.

Term 2 News

I would like to say a big thanks to all who helped to make Term 1 a success.

Term 2 should be even better now that I have gotten into the groove of things, though Term 2's content will not be starting till Friday, 21st April 2006. This is due to the easter holidays being busier then I expected and not wanting to put out a recipe untried and untested.

This term I am happy to offer the option of having Term 2 emailed straight to your inbox, instead of having to go to the website to download it.

The lesson will be emailed to you as an attachment in PDF format.

You will need to ensure that you watch the junk mail section of your inbox in case the lessons get delivered to the junk mail section instead of the inbox section.

Unfortunately Term 1 will not be included in this email option. The email option will only be on offer for the term in progress until all the bugs have been worked out and the best possible plan of attack has been formulated.
