A Lesson Learnt

Never, ever, let your 2 yr old (almost 3) run around in an aquarium shop where they store stones, that are easily picked up, beneath their display tanks.
Why?
Because that toddler will then pick up a rock and throw it, or drop it (I didn't actually see) and that rock will then break the fish tank it was, or wasn't, aimed at.

Being the nice person I am, I asked about what would happen and paid a $30 deposit on getting the tank fixed. Fortunately they will only have to replace the glass for one side and not the whole thing.

And because I expect hubby to say something about me being nice and paying for breakages (even if it is only to cover the excess for insurance), I will say this. If someone came into your business and broke one of your computers by dropping a rock on it, you would want them to pay at least the insurance excess wouldn't you?

Next time we go to an aquarium the toddler will be held or strapped into the pram and left outside! lol! Actually, I will just carry her.

Apart from this, we traded in our goldfish for some mollies, 1 male and 1 female siamese fighting fish.

I also spent some money and bought some good pencils. Really good pencils, coloured pencils. No more splurging for me, need to save up for our beardeds that are coming in a few weeks time.
