Cooking Tips #1
Tip 1
Place grease proof paper over the fine grater, when grating citrus for their zest (outer skin). It make it easier to collect the zest for a recipe.
Tip 2
Always remove zest before juicing a citrus fruit
Tip 3
Crack eggs into a separate cup before adding them to the recipe. This is to ensure they are not too old, contain spots or to catch any shell before it makes a recipe crunchier then normal.
Tip 4
Use self raising flour instead of plain flour, when deep frying, as it will produce a crispier crust.
